my hands. after painting the new apartment today.

there's something extremely fun about moving around

often. Last year september I moved to Amsterdam and

now, merely 9 months later I'm moving back to the

Hague. expect some fresh interior images the coming

weeks.

Sundays: it's just a love/hate relationship I guess. I love Sundays for being relaxed and

being able to do whatever you feel like. Taking time for things. However, it's the end of

the weekend and monday is just around the corner. Bleh.

Anyways, I went to 2 museums today. The first image is of the exhibition: Voici Paris.

Quite interesting about Haute Couture from Charles Frederick Worth, Paul Poiret,

Madame Voinet, till contemporary haute couture designers like Margiela etc.

After that my mom cooked a lovely dinner (second image)

21. what a number. The age that you're allowed to do anything you want, old enough for numerous things in life (not that we haven't done stuff before..anyways)

Since i've always celebrated my birthday in a big way, this year will be the same most probably. My boyfriend and I might celebrate it together in an old school in two gym rooms, how nice is that?! Hope it works out and we can celebrate it there!

PS. tips on any lovely fashion themed books i could ask for?

I think that me posting these summer images means: I miss summer?

Probably. It's been snowing for the past few weeks. Even though snow can be beautiful, in the city, it is not.

Yucky slushy pools of brown slush which ruin all my shoes, it's a time when you dress out of practicality.

I'd much rather be on vacation on a hilly area, sipping hot coco while the crackling fire warms me, curled up on a sofa while reading a book or flipping through the latest magazines.

Sigh...

new years resolutions

Sometimes, certain things are meant to be. When the first images of the jimmy choo for h&m collection leaked, I was stoked for only 1 item: the tackiest snakeskin with rhinestones/studs/star shaped studs!! Then came the confusion as to if they were for men or women or both.

A few days before the stuff hit the stores it became clear that they were indeed for men and women. The price tag put me off though..i was as broke as a joke so 130.00 euros was not going to happen.

Yesterday I did some last minute shopping and stumbled upon the last pair of the afore mentioned boots. I look inside of the shoe: size 36!! (I'm a 36/37)

I slipped my feet into them and ahh....they fit perfectly well!

The current price tag said they were marked down to 69.90. Ok I could live with that I guess. So off I went to the counter, the man scanned in the boots and the price 34.90 pops up. AAAAAHHHH

SO I guess it was meant to be after all :)

And now, the new years resolutions

(even though I honestly don't think they always work out the way you want them to):

*yes is yes and no is no

*make all those dreams reality

*spend less on clothing....ahem
