I went to see an exhibition of a dutch designer called
Alexander van Slobbe. He's the designer of Orson & Bodil
(google it). There were a lot of interesting things to be
seen! The way he constructs dresses is very unique. All his
designs are timeless. Above are a few photographs that I
took. I love it when museums allow you to take photographs!

Sometimes it feels as if the glamour of
fashion or whatever you want to call it,
dissappears slightly the more you get
into it. The more you see, the more you
find out, the more it dissapoints you at
times.

But then I realise that I can actually
make a difference someday. Create
something real, something that people
can relate to. Putting it all out there in
order to prevent dissapointment. But
at the same time keeping some of the
mystery towards the person that passes
you by on the street. But the wearer, he
or she will know, understand, live and
breathe the brand.

So this doesn't look too bad right about now! Just 3 months and it will be summer! I can't wait.
Things on the agenda will be: London, a road trip to Istanbul and perhaps Dour (a festival in Belgium)

I'm going to Berlin on the 28th together with the rest of my classmates. Any tips?

When the word was out that Tom Ford was going to direct a movie, it triggered everyones curiosity.
Could it be that one of the greatest designers of our time could possibly deliver an interesting plot?
After having seen the movie yesterday I can answer that question: "YES."
Not only did Tom Ford direct, he produced and wrote the script. The movie had very few actors but
that didn't matter. The whole story was highly entertaining and the visual aspect was beyond
captivating.

If you haven't seen it yet, you're missing out.
