Fr Cltch.
I made an oversized faux fur
clutch. It's quite huge and the
inside is stiff due to some foam
board that I put in hahaha.

DIY.
I made this dress myself. It's super simple.
Take a long piece of cloth (1.50 x 2 m)
Fold it in half.Leave slits open on the sides
for your arms to fit through. Cut open the
top for your head to fit through and sew the
rest together. Cut the slits for the skirt part
really big in order to have a more geometric
shape. Et voila. And again, I just do these
things through aptitude. I don't get patterns..

Cut.
what to do with vintage blouses that you no longer wear? Cut em!

Sleeves.
I'm in love with Margiela and when I saw his fingerless gloves my heart skipped a beat. Obviously I can't buy them as I'm participating in
the Free Fashion Challenge and besides that I wouldn't even be able to afford them anyways. So I decided to make them myself with
some black leather that I had lying around. It's super easy to make. I don't do patterns etc. as I was never schooled in that field yet I'm
guessing that my genes hold a certain aptitude to tailoring as there have been a lot of tailors in my family. Thats' why my explanations
are sometimes a bit confusing as I myself don't really know what I'm doing! I hope the visuals are clearer.

_take a piece of leather and wrap it around your arm
_pin the areas that need to be cut off in order to have the shape that you need
_draw a line with garment chalk and cut about 2cm from there just to make sure you don't cut it too small
_fold the top and the bottom inwards
_start stitching
_turn it inside out
_cut a hole where your thumb would stick through

Clutch_
I had a piece of white leather left
over and made it into an extremely
basic clutch. The size is approximately
50 x 20 cm.In the second image you
see a peak of an amazing magazine
that I picked up the other day:
VESTOJ, where the sartorial matters
If you (like me) had never heard of
it before, make sure you pick it up.
I promise that you intellectuals will
drool.

DIY__x2

This is an old clutch that
belonged to my mother.
I attached three old rings
to the top (by sewing them
on) and now i'm able to
"clutch" it properly.

I love love love the Isabel Marant Spring 2010 fur coats. Unfortunately
I don't have a few $$$$ to buy it so enter a DIY project. No idea how
it's going to turn out but I hope to have it done by tomorrow.

Stay tuned.
